At least one of the authors of an accepted paper must complete online registration by 31 August 2016, and present it at the symposium, so that the paper will be included in the final proceedings appearing in IEEE Xplore and ISAP Archives. Note that a regular participant can present two papers at most and a student or retired participant can present only a paper.
Guidelines for oral and poster presentations including are given below.
The official language of the Symposium is English. Each oral presentation is allocated a 20-minute time slot. These 20-minutes must include the presentation, questions, any discussion, and the transition to the next presentation. It is strongly recommended that speakers plan on a 15-16 minute presentation to allow 4-5 minutes for questions.
Presenters should be in the session room 15 minutes before the session begins to meet with the session chair, who should be near the stage/lectern. Presentation shall be uploaded to the computer in the session room via either CD-ROM or USB flash memory stick during the break before the session. Presenters are advised when uploading their presentations to check if formulas/animations are shown correctly. Presenters can check their presentations also in the ready room B5 on the 1st floor in the Conference Building B, where computers and LCD displays are available.
Each session room will be equipped with a computer/LCD projector, a microphone, and a pointing device. The software installed on the computer includes:
• Windows 7 professional 64bit
• MS Office 2013 Standard (PowerPoint)
• Internet Explorer 8
• Windows Media Player 12
• Acrobat Reader 11.0.03
• Flash Player 11
• Virus Buster Business Security
The media player is only available with the standard codecs. Use of standard True Type font is suggested for Power Point presentations. In the case Power Point contains videos, please ensure that both files (Power Point and Video) are in the same folder.
Each presenter should give a presentation using the computer equipped at the session room, in order to ensure smooth program running to minimize transition time between presentations. The committee cannot guarantee any presentations using personal computers owned by presenters.
One of the authors must present the paper at the symposium in order to include it in the final proceedings appearing in IEEE Xplore and ISAP Archives. The session chair(s) for your session will have a Feedback Form where they will mark whether or not your paper was presented at the session. If the Form indicates that the paper was not presented, it will be automatically withdrawn from appearing in IEEE Xplore and ISAP Archives.
The venue for the poster sessions will be Exhibition Hall. For each paper accepted within a poster session, one poster board in portrait format is reserved with a dimension of 180 cm (width) x 210 cm (height). The authors should by themselves display their posters on the board labeled with the serial number in the session and Paper ID.
Poster shall be on display during the day dedicated to the specific poster session. Authors are invited to be on stand-by near their poster during the session breaks and must be near their poster during the dedicated poster sessions (14:00-15:40 on 10/26 and 14:00-15:40 on 10/27).
One of the authors must present the paper at the symposium in order to include it in the final proceedings appearing in IEEE Xplore and ISAP Archives. During the first period of the session (about 14:00 -14:40), the committee members will check whether the paper was presented, or not. If the paper was not presented, it will be automatically withdrawn from appearing in IEEE Xplore and ISAP Archives. Thus, the author should make a presentation in front of the poster at least during the above period (14:00 -14:40), and make sure that the committee member has marked its presence.
